Pat down

The Pat Down Course was integrated with the Steward Course pursuant to Italian Ministerial Decree 13th August 2019 in order to train staff for auxiliary police services. Such services include: people checks, baggage checks, the detection of hazardous objects, also with the use of metal detectors.

The course aims to qualify staff to carry out such activities by providing them with knowledge of regulations and practice for the correct performance of tasks.

Control activities, by means of ‘Pat Down’ technique, have been extended to support activities for events other than sporting ones.
